K9to5 Dog Day care is a 500 sqm indoor/ outdoor facility. The team at K9to5 have created a home away from home for your dog where they can spend a day enjoying fun activities and socializing with other dogs under full supervision of our trained staff. A day at K9to5 is guaranteed to keep your furry friend stimulated and happy.

FAQs

What will my dog do all day at day care?
We provide several activities throughout the day to keep your dog occupied including sand pits for digging, shell pools for splashing, bubbles/ balls for chasing, rope toys for tugging and tunnels to play hide and seek in. If your dog is feeling tired and is ready for a nap we supply plenty of warm, comfy beds and couches for snoozing.

How many days can my dog attend day care?
Regular attendance (at least once a week) at K9to 5 will help your dog feel secure and relaxed.Dogs thrive on routine however we do not recommend more than three days a week as dogs can become over tired and grumpy towards the end of their day care week.

Are there separate areas for big and small dogs?
K9to5 is not like a kennel and is cage free which means your dog has the opportunity to interact with other dogs in a natural environment.
We endeavour to organise the dogs in suitable groups depending on their energy levels and temperament.

How will my dog be kept cool in summer?
We cater for all weather conditions. The staff ensure that our shell pools are continuously filled with water and we provide adequate shade in the form of shade sales and trees.

What if my dog needs training?
We have regular training sessions on Saturdays and Sundays run by qualified and experience trainers. If you are interested in further training please enquire at reception and our staff will let you know when the next class is commencing.

Will my dog be fed at day care?
We encourage all dogs to be fed at home and after attending day care, unless they are young or have special dietary requirements. If dogs are feed we encourage they rest at least half an hour before and/or after their meal.

Please note: All dogs will receive a yummy treat at home time when they use their best doggie manners and sit calmly for a few seconds before leaving reception.

Is there a risk of a fight?
There is always a risk. It is the same risk as taking your dog to a park or the dog beach. We endeavour to reduce this risk by only having sterilised dogs and having a very thorough enrolment and orientation process.
