Terms & Conditions

To ensure the health and safety of your pet and of other guests, we require that all of our clients comply with the following rules and regulations:

Days & Hours:
For your convenience K9to5 Dog Day Care is open Monday to Friday 7am to 5.45pm.
(Closed Public Holidays) Dogs can be dropped off at 7am (no earlier) & must be picked up by 5.30pm. A late pickup fee will be charged at $10.00 per 10 minutes or part thereof. If you’re going to be late please advise us ASAP.

First Day:
All new dogs must be here at 7am on their first day – No Exceptions! This is to familiarise the dog with the environment before the other dogs arrive.

All dogs must be 4 months of age or older before commencing day care. Puppies must have been at home for 2 weeks prior to coming to day care.

Shelter Dogs:
Shelter dogs and/or adopted dogs must have been in their new home for a minimum of 3 months prior to his/her first day care admission.

All dogs over the age of 7 months must be neutered or spayed. Owners must submit official documentation as proof.

All dogs must have up to date vaccinations. Owners must submit official documentation as proof that their dog/s have a current C5 vaccination, which includes Canine Cough.

All dogs must be in good health. Owners will need to certify that their dog is in good health and has not been ill in the last 30 days. On admission all dogs must be free from any illness/condition that could potentially be communicated to other dogs.

Owners will need to certify that their dog has not harmed or shown aggression or threatening behaviour towards any persons or other dogs. We will accept your verbal assurance.

For the safety of others, owners must be aware that if their dog is Lead Reactive on their way into or out of the daycare, they may not be suitable for daycare.

Due and payable in the morning of admission on the day of each attendance. Bulk payments are accepted.

Required. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice and no-shows will be charged full fees.

What to bring:
Your dog must have a collar with ID tag and be walked on a lead at all times to and from the centre. All items should be clearly labelled with your dog’s name. Please no choker chains as they are a hazard when playing with other dogs. Please do not bring personal items like toys or bones as this is a cage free environment, and we cannot guarantee their exclusive use. We have treats and plenty of toys.

Please clearly label medications and include written instruction with your dog’s name, type of medication, dosage and frequency. Please alert us in advance if you know your dog will require medication. A small fee applies for the administration of medication.
K9to5 reserves the right to refuse a dog to day care if they display signs of a communicable illness or are taking medication for the same. Please understand this is to ensure the general health and welfare of all dogs in our care.

Orientations and Assessments:
Orientations and assessment times are available by appointment only. They are held on 5.30 pm on weekdays. K9to5 will contact you when a day care placement becomes available. You must bring your dog to the appointment so we can assess their suitability for day care. This will also will give your dog the opportunity to become familiar with the environment before their trial day. Please be aware that we only accept well socialised dogs.


Opening hours: 7.00am – 5.45pm
Monday to Friday

One dog, one visit per week $50.00 per day (Inc GST)
Two or more visits per week $46.00 per day (Inc GST)
Two dogs together for one visit $92.00 per day (Inc GST)


Please Note:

Bookings are essential as we only take a certain number of dogs per day.

If you are unable to keep your booking please advise us 24 hours before or we will have to charge you the full fees for the day care or service you had booked with us. Similarly if you need to book in at short notice please ring us and we will endeavour to fit you in.

Payment for day care is to be made in the morning when dogs are dropped off.

We accept CASH or EFTPOS transactions.

Waiver & Release of Liability

In consideration of being accepted to have my dog(s) attend day care at K9to5 Dog Day Care:

1. I acknowledge that:
a. In admitting my dog(s), K9to5 Dog Day Care is relying solely on my representations that my dog(s) are in good
health and has not harmed or shown aggressive or threatening behaviour towards any person, animal or thing.
b. K9to5 Dog Day Care is a cage free environment and I accept that there are inherent risks associated with such and environment, including (but not limited to):
i. Transfer of communicable illness, such as Canine Cough (Kennel Cough)
ii. Injuries, including broken nails, abrasions, cuts and sore pads and
iii. Behavioural problems
iv. Although K9to5 Dog Day Care carefully screen all applicants, occasionally it is discovered that this is not an appropriate environment for every dog. K9to5 retains the discretion to temporarily or permanently remove my dog(s) from the daycare at any time.
v. I have read and understood the K9to5 Dog Day Care Waiver & Release of Liability and the Day Care Rules.

2. I agree that:
a. I am solely responsible for any loss, damage or harm caused or contributed by my dog(s) while attending day Care at K9to5.
b. While my dog(s) is in the care and custody of K9to5 Dog Day Care and in the case that I cannot be contacted
and/or in the event of an emergency, K9to5 Dog Daycare, its agent or representative may seek immediate veterinary care for my dog.
c. I am responsible for all costs associated with clause 2(a) and clause 2 (b),
d. I will abide by the rules set out in the K9to5 Waiver & Release of Liability and the K9to5 Dog Day Care Rules & Regulations, accepting all terms, conditions and statements contained within.

3. I release K9to5 and its employees and agents, from all liability and indemnify K9to5 Dog Day Care from any and all claims of every kind and nature whatsoever, arising directly and indirectly, from my dog(s) participation in activities or use of service, including and legal claims and medical expenses.
