K9to5 have a wonderful team of experienced and qualified dog enthusiasts. The team includes, vets, dog trainers and professional groomers.
K9to5 aims to be the best doggy day care in Perth. Our staff recognise that your dog is an individual, so we have created an team that caters to individual needs.
Leanne - Company Director
Leanne’s previous experiences lead her to a rewarding career working in the field of children’s services however, one of her true passions has always been dogs.
She finally pursued her dream job in 2009 as the Director and owner of K9to5.
Leanne considers herself extremely blessed coming to work every day to be with likeminded dog enthusiasts.
Leanne’s fur children “Bonnie” the Labrador and “Rumi” the King Charles Cavalier are her constant companions. Her “Non-fur children” – twin boys Oliver and Noah have inherited her love of animals.
Charlotte
Assistant Manager
Charlotte joined the K9to5 Family in 2018. Charlotte started as a casual daycare supervisor and very quickly realised that working with dogs was her passion.
She loved the job so much that she fast became a Senior Daycare Supervisor and then our Assistant Manager. Her love for the doggies inspired her to complete her Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing as well as her diploma in Canine Remedial Massage.
Charlotte is the dog mother of, Lexi the sassy GSD x Ridgeback and Kali the goofball Weimaraner.
Ine
Daycare Supervisor
Ine joined the K9to5 team mid-2025. Both her parents are veterinarians so she has worked in veterinary clinics and with animals her whole life.
Ine has a deep passion and care for animals, particularly dogs. She said goodbye to her beautiful Australian Terrier Ozzie earlier this year, so K9to5 has been an awesome workplace to hang out with all the amazing pups.
She is currently in her first year at uni studying an Animal Sciences/Health degree in hopes of following in her parents footsteps and transferring into Vet Medicine next year.
Ben
Daycare Supervisor
Ben has been working at K9to5 since September 2021, following a successful week in work placement through his school.
He very quickly became a crucial member of staff through his passion and enthusiasm for our dogs and their owners’ needs.
He has a very attentive nature to each and every dog and really loves pampering “his” Frenchies.
Ben grew up having active kelpies and knows what’s needed to keep our dogs entertained and stimulated when they come to visit. He is determined to make a career in working with and caring for animals, encouraging him to work towards completing his Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing.
Megan
Assistant Manager
Meg joined the K9to5 family in August 2023.
She has two Tibetan Spaniels Bear and Archie who are her little fur babies, they accompany her whilst at daycare.
Meg is in her first year at Uni studying Nursing. She not only wants to look after dogs but humans too.
Meg has learnt many skills in dog behavior since joining the team and hopes to continue learning and growing so she can be the best supervisor for your lovely pooches.
Isobel
Daycare Supervisor
Isobel has an extremely strong love for all animals, in particular dogs. She has two beautiful Tibetan Spaniels Bear and Archie who are her absolute pride and joy. Bear was her families first ever dog and prior to Bear she had never heard of a doggy daycare before. Isobel enrolled Bear into daycare and immediately fell in love with the idea that working with dogs all day could actually be a job.
She patiently waited for a position to open and applied instantly, as soon as one did. Isobel has now been a part of the K9to5 team for 4 years and has learnt many new skills regarding dog behaviour and handling. You will also find Isobel in reception welcoming clients and doggies and in the grooming salon assisting with bath and blow-dries.
Isobel is in her first year of her Nursing degree as she loves the idea of not only caring for animals but for humans too.
Kiana
Daycare Supervisor
Kiana joined the K9to5 team as a daycare supervisor in January 2024. From a young age dogs have always been a part of her life, which led her to have a keen interest in working with animals.
Kiana has learnt many skills on handling and caring for dogs since joining the team and is welcoming a Miniature Schnauzer puppy into her family in March 2024. She enjoys greeting each dog as they arrive and getting lots of cuddles in return.
Kiana plans to study Biomedical Science at university next year but her love for animals will continue to be an integral part of her life for years to come.
Alanna
Daycare Supervisor
Alanna joined the K9to5 team in early 2022. After previously working with horses for 2 years, Alanna found her passion is with man’s best friend.
Dogs have been a crucial part of Alanna’s life, and she is the proud dog-mum of a 4 year old Dachshund named Louis.
Alanna’s dream for a career with animals started at young age and her passion has never faded. Rest assured every fur baby put in Alanna’s care is treated like her own with the utmost love and respect.
Kayla
Daycare Supervisor
Kayla joined the K9to5 team in July 2024. She has grown up with a love for all animals but especially our furry, four-legged best friends.
Dogs are such an important part of Kayla’s life that when the opportunity arose to join our team she jumped on the idea. She cares for each dog like they are her own, being a dog mother of Hollii the Curly Coated Retriever, Missy the Murray River Retriever and Nala the CCR.
Kayla plans to work towards a Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing, hoping to continue working with animals as she moves through life.
